Maybe a little less with the face paint guys?

Well the Qantas Film and Television awards have been and gone but since I only just saw photos you'll have to put up with some old news.

It seems that the Dita von Teese look is gaining more and more traction, with several starlets and wannabes looking more like sex dolls than china dolls thanks to FAR too much makeup. BALANCE is key with strong looks, especially pinup - not more face paint than the Joker.

Kate Elliott (or Smelliott, as she should be known) was the worst offender, looking like she's desperate for another vampire role since 2007's flop 30 Days of Night.

Amazingly, Antonia Prebble manages to hold her own in the war-paint stakes.

C'mon guys, you can't just trust your makeup "artist" and not check the mirror before heading out!
